Recommended Listening: Here for You

I figure it might be nice to occasionally post some good albums that I’m enjoying that you will probably enjoy as well.  This weeks music recommendation is Here for you by Passion.

If you don’t know anything about Passion, it’s a yearly worship conference hosted by Lougi Giglio and Chris Tomlin.  It’s aimed primarily at college students and his held typically in Atlanta.  But every year they bring in some of the biggest names in worship music to lead at the conference.  Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Christy Nockels and more are in the lineup every year.

And every year Passion puts out a live recording from one of the nights of the conference.  It includes songs by most of the artists who lead at the conference, and it is typically their newer work.

I picked up this cd on Wednesday and it is well worth the money.  I’m not the biggest fan of live recordings, but this one is really good, and I really enjoy every song on the album.  My favorite would have to be track 5, David Crowder Band’sShadows with guest performer Lecrae.  It’s really good!  I highly recommend this album to all of you.
